"Annie’s yoga class is fantastic; it is friendly and not at all intimidating. The moves are explained and demonstrated clearly, I started as a complete beginner 18 months ago and am completely hooked. I leave the class feeling taller and calmer and sleep so peacefully the night after yoga" Vanita B
"Annie's clear descriptions and encouragement mean these classes meet the needs of complete beginners, more experienced students, pregnant women, and those with all sorts of different, aches, pains, weaknesses and injuries. I think that Annie's classes will help me to maintain my strength, flexibility and balance as I get older" Dorothy B (61 and eleven twelfths)
"I have been attending various yoga classes off and on for about 10 years (through gyms and local clubs etc). I started attending Annie's classes just over a year ago. They are the best I have ever been to. Annie's approach to yoga is of a very high standard and yet she never pushes people and is always sympathetic to every level (from beginner upwards). I always feel I am achieving much better quality in my practice when I attend her classes yet I never feel I am being nagged or badgered, it just comes naturally. Her good humour and sense of fun always comes through and yet the essential calm and spirituality associated with good yoga practice is not compromised. Doing the class at lunch time grounds me and helps a lot if things in the office are getting stressful.
Classes always seem to include a solid grounding of the basic postures, a section which focusses on a specific area, (often tailored to the class once she gets to know you) and almost always something new. I really like this mix. They are never boring like some classes I did in the past with endless repetition of the same postures each week. My main area of discomfort is back and neck mainly due to computer and VDU use and also travel. I also cycle and run and feel the yoga practice really helps with tight and sore muscles. Annie has a great approach to this and has taught me a lot of techniques to alleviate tension. She will always make time to talk to you about specific aspects of your practice. More than that, when you come in the door, it often feels uncannily like she tailors the class for exactly what you need that day. If you are looking for gimmicks, trends or fads you may be better to look elsewhere but if you are looking for high quality real yoga which will help your body, mind and spirit look no further. I cannot recommend her highly enough" Rob F
"Your classes are not only enjoyable but of great benefit to body and soul!
Having been through chemotherapy, menopause and hitting 50 all in the last few years my body and my mind certainly needed some help! Yoga has taught me to be kind to my body but also to keep it stretched and supple. The postures are occasionally challenging but when they are well taught (as in your class!) they are are rewarding as they make you aware of your body and any tensions which need to be released. It has certainly helped with my aches and pains. I also feel a sense of overall wellbeing from the stillness and calm which are a very important element of the class. To me, your classes have been a great help in stressful times and I would recommend them to anyone"

“Annie’s classes have made me stronger physically and have really helped with the tension in my shoulders. She is an excellent yoga teacher who understands the body well. I wish I had known about her classes sooner!” Rashmi R
"Annie's yoga classes always leave me feeling relaxed yet energised. Annie' sets a lovely, joyful mood. She has gentle, wise guidance for each person's particular needs. I feel lucky to have found her classes." Ruth B
"For me finding Annie's lunchtime yoga class has been an enriching experience. It is a gift to be able to create a calm and peaceful space which allows each of us to explore our individual needs through yoga. Annie has the ability to guide and encourage without for one minute instilling a sense of criticism of her students' efforts. I have come back to yoga after some time away from it and am realising again what benefits all the components can bring me. I am more relaxed, feel more supple and walk taller from my weekly class. I have no hesitation in recommending that you join us, dear reader, no matter what your age or experience of yoga" Sheila T
“I have been practicing yoga with Annie for over two years (including throughout my first pregnancy). No matter how busy I am, I always try to attend her weekly classes, which I find work wonders for my stress levels, flexibility and giving me a calmness and balance for the week ahead. I had a very smooth pregnancy and a quick (natural) birth, in which I felt my regular yoga practice had a huge part to play. Annie’s classes are gentle yet effective, and you get a sense that each move is thoughtful and considered, depending upon what her general “theme” for each class might be. I would recommend Annie’s classes to anyone!” Vic F
"Annie’s classes are always a pleasure. Her descriptions of poses are particularly good, helping you visualize and then realize the desired effect" Emma C
